What an exciting time at Belvo! A few weeks ago we announced that we are live in Brazil, and now, we'd like to share some exciting new product features with you:

Banking aggregation is live in Brazil

We are officially live with our banking aggregation product in Brazil. We start with a very strong coverage in retail banking including:

  • Itaú
  • Banco do Brasil
  • Bradesco
  • Caixa
  • Santander

All those institutions are also live and accessible from our Connect widget.

Gig economy support is coming soon to Brazil

In addition to increasing our banking coverage in Brazil, we will offer very soon our Gig Economy product.

Uber is already available as part of our BETA in Brazil, and the good news is that Rappi will follow very soon.

Increasing coverage in Colombia

We have made a lot of improvements in our banking product in Colombia to bring the best coverage in retail banking.

To this end, we added Banco de Occidente as a new institution, making it now +80% of market coverage for retail banking in Colombia.

In addition to adding more institutions, we have extended the history of transactions we can retrieve for all institutions in Colombia, and now we retrieve up to 12 months (or more) of transactions for all banks.

Reliability and success rate for top Mexican banks

As part of our ongoing efforts to make Open Finance more reliable in Mexico, we have focused the last month on actions to make fintechs and financial innovators more successful when implementing an Open Finance strategy:

  • Improving our Connect Widget to guide users to connect their account, especially when they have not used online banking before.
  • Increasing the coverage of supported products in each Mexican institution
  • Daily and hourly monitoring and improvements of our institution connections

Those targeted efforts resulted in tremendous improvements in BBVA, Banco Azteca and Citibanamex connection conversions for our clients.
